Champions for sustainability

Dusit draws attention to sustainable farming and cooking by supporting the {Re} Food Forum

Dusit has partnered with {Re} Food Forum to highlight the issue of waste and sustainability in Asia's food industry.

Championed by Dusit’s very own Siradej Donavanik, Director of Development and Projects (pictured above), who is part of the {Re} Brain’s Trust, the {Re} Food Forum (held from March 18 – 21 in Bangkok) will bring together 40 food industry leaders from around the world to discuss the future of food and food production in the hospitality industry in Asia.

The event will feature a two-day symposium at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, plus a series of special dinners, hosted by top international chefs, at various restaurants around town.

Dusit helped to draw attention to the event by hosting a press conference for local and international media at 22 Kitchen and Bar, Dusit Thani Bangkok, on 21 February 2018. The press conference was hosted by Khun Siradej alongside fellow {Re} Food Forum organisers Leisa Tyler (journalist and farmer) and celebrated local chefs Bo Songvisava and Dylan Jones from the renowned Bo.lan restaurant.

{Re} is a not-for-profit event run through the Thai registered foundation BioThai. All proceeds will be donated to sustainable agriculture projects in Southeast Asia.
