ASAI helps make Bangkok's biggest bar of soap – using kitchen waste!
Record-breaking, sustainable soap will now be distributed to various charities in Bangkok
ASAI Hotels recently joined Bangkok Soap Opera, a Bangkok-based store creating and selling 100% natural and chemical-free soaps and cosmetic products, to host a special workshop to make Bangkok's biggest bar of sustainable soap – weighing a whopping 100kg!
Held at Bangkok Soap Opera's premises at the K-Village Shopping Mall, the special workshop gave participants the chance to make a difference – and learn about sustainability too – while getting their hands clean turning used kitchen oil into a natural soap.
When completely set, the soap will be divided into bars and given to various charities caring for disadvantaged children in Bangkok.
