Dusit awarded for sustainable contribution in Thailand

Responsible sourcing of paper products results in healthier forests and cleaner air

Dusit's commitment to sustainable operations came to the fore once again recently when the company was awarded the 'Sustainable Forest Contributors Award' from Kimberly Clark – the world-renowned multinational personal care corporation that produces mostly paper-based consumer products.

Over the past year, six Dusit Hotels & Resorts in Thailand, as well as both campuses of Dusit Thani College, have been using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified tissue products from Kimberly Clark Thailand. The tissues are made from recycled fibre in an eco-friendly manufacturing process that uses less water and less energy.
