Customizable food boxes give people the chance  to thank those who are working around the clock to protect people, help others and save lives.

Bangkok, 17 April 2020: Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, has expanded its food delivery service in Bangkok to include a ‘Food for Heroes’ option which allows customers to purchase meals for delivery to key workers in the city.

Available to order now from two of Dusit’s properties in the capital – namely Baan Dusit Thani (Sala Daeng) and Dusit Suites Hotel Ratchadamri Bangkok – via a central call centre on 02-200-9009, or via LINE @baandusitthani, meals for donation range in price from THB 100 to 120 (with a minimum order of 10 boxes). The service is available daily from 10am–8pm.

Dusit will donate one extra food box for every 10 food boxes ordered.

The extensive customizable menu features nutritious and delicious Thai and international options such as Rice with Panaeng Curry, Spaghetti Carbonara, and Orange and Almond Cake. Customers can add personal messages to their orders, and, for a small additional fee, decorative items such as flowers and balloons.

All meals are cooked fresh to order and will be delivered to the hospital, temple, or government office of the customer’s choice in Bangkok. Orders of 50 boxes or more include free delivery to any location within a 10km radius of Dusit's participating properties.

“We’re delighted to launch this new service which gives our customers a unique opportunity to share their appreciation for key workers in Bangkok via personal messages of encouragement and the heartwarming gift of nutritious, delicious food,” said Ms Suphajee Suthumpun, Group CEO, Dusit International. “Our frontline heroes are giving their all to protect us in these uncertain times, and we will continue to find ways to honour them as we join our communities to fight the spread of COVID-19 and move towards a brighter future together.”
